Montreal's World Film Festival lives up to its name
.

(August 11, 2006) - The 2006 Montreal World Film Festival has announced its lineup of features and shorts and once again this year's event surely lives up to its name. And don't think that the films are all in French, or from strictly French-speaking countries. There are entries from the United States, Australia, England, as well as Canadian films in English and French. There are films from Argentina, Spain, Germany anmd Italy. In fact, there are more than 100 features from around the world. There are also 97 short films including 35 Canadian entries ranging betwenn 4 minutes and 34 minutes long. We have placed a maple leaf next to those films that have some Canadian content. Here is a detailed list of what visitors to the 30th annual festival in Montréal and expect:
