Wil Zmak's first feature, The Dark Hours picked up about 15 awards including the Audiuence Award at the Dead of the Dawn horror-film festival in Scotland, as well as awards from festivals in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Texas, South Korea and the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. At the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, Zmak won the Best Screenplay Award.
