Graham Abbey, pictured aboce as Gray Jackson in a CBC publicity still from the series, The Border. Abbey began his career on stage at Stratford as a child actor and then returned in 1997 to spend the next ten years trodding the boards as a leading man in the title role for plays like Macbeth, Henry V and Henry VII. He won the Dora Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Principal Role for his work in Ross Petty's musical Snow White and the Magnificent Seven in 2002. Abbey, who makes his home in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood of Toronto, was nominated for a Dora the following year for his work in Robin Hood.
