Arnie Achtman's first TV role was an appearance on an episode of the King of Kensignton in 1977, which starred Al Waxman and Fiona Reid. In addition to his acting, he is also a teacher of Expressive Writing and in February of 1988 he began cohosting a radio program on Toronto's CKLN-FM (88.1) that features new writers from different Toronto communities. Achtman also works with new writers to present their work for broadcast and public readings.
