Kyla Anderson started out in life as Kyla Mary Wise Halliday and made her professional acting debut in theatre and tries to do as much work in theatre as she can. While at a beauty pageant in Calgary, she was offered the chance to work in Japan and Taiwan as a model, but after returning to Canada she went to the University of Calgary when she graduated with a BFA in Drama with Distinction and was awarded the Department of Drama Gold Medal. She sometimes appears in the credits as Kyla Wise.
