Paul Anka

Primarly known as a singer and composer - he has writtenmore than 900 songs - Paul Anka's career started at the age of 15 when he signed a contract with ABC Paramount Records. His first hit, "Diana" has been followed by 15 gold records and more than 50 million records sold. Still strongly attached to Canada, Paul Anka was one of the original investors in The Ottawa Senators NHL team. Among his many claims to fame: he wrote the theme music for The Longest Day and for The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.
