Kristin Booth on the left as Connie in a publicity still from the CBC series, MVP. Booth grew up in Kinkora, near the Shakespeare Festival town of Stratford, Ontario. She made her professional acting debut when she was 12, playing an orphan in a summer stock musical production of the play, Annie. She continued to act all through high school, performing in school plays and after graduating, she enrolled in the theatre program at Ryerson University in Toronto. She made a rather inauspicious television debut playing a cheerleader on an episode of Discovery Channel’s Exhibit A but it was a start. Her first starring role in a feature came with the 2003 film, Foolproof opposite Ryan Reynolds.
