Anita Brown began her career as an international model, including working in Asia when she was just 15 years old. But she gravitated toward film and television and began to get the occasional role as an extra. Eventually she was offered bigger roles and also some work in commercials before launching her career with a role in Rodney Dangerfield's 2000 film, My 5 Wives.
