Lindsey Campbell is an actor and playwright. Her Girl-Mom was created "in the spirit of The Vagina Monologues, Exonerated and The Laramie Project," and is a compilation of 79 young female voices and their stories of birth, struggle, pain, choice, freedom and joy. When Campbell herself became a young mother she felt isolated and misunderstood until she found a community of young mothers on the internet. Girl-Mom is based on real-life posts to the website from teen mothers around the world. It was presented at Edmonton's Citadel Theatre in 2005.
