Sarah Chalke
  Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke was born in Ottawa but moved to Vancouver when she was just a child. Her acting career began when she was just 8 years old when she started appearing in local musical theatre productions. A few years later she became an environmental reporter for Kid Zone and her big break came in 1993 when she was cast as Rosanne Barr's daughter, Becky Conner, on Roseanne. When that series ended in 1997, She returned to Vancouver and a role on Nothing too Good For a Cowboy. When she has some spare time Chalke likes playing the guitar, hiking, snowboarding, and skiing. In fact she's good enough to be a ski instructor. Rounding out her talents, she speaks French and German fluently and volunteers at a hospice for terminally ill children. Chalke played the role of Dr. Elliot Reid on the hit TV series Scrubs from its very first episode.
