Lara Jean Chorostecki attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. In 2004 she received an Arts Award from her hometown of Brampton, Ontario. In addition to her work in film and television, Chorostecki’s theatre credits include roles in Stratford Festival productions of The Lark, As You Like It, The Tempest, The Swanne: Queen Victoria: The Seduction of Nemesis, Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Count of Monte Cristo, Quiet In The Land, The Threepenny Opera and The Scarlet Pimpernel. Other stage performances include Twelfth Night, The Secret Garden, Home Child, The White Devil and Peter Pan.
