David Cormican trained in musical theatre in Edmonton's Grant MacEwan College Theatre Arts program/ He also spent time at Ireland's national theatre school in Dublin, The Gaiety School of Acting, and he studied film at the New York Film Academy. Cormican os one of the seven founding members of the Canadian Comedy Company.
