Isabelle Cyr is the sister of Myriam Cyr. She graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Montréal's McGill University and attended the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique to study acting and the École Notre-Dame-D'Acadie / Vincent d'Indy to study classic piano.
