Actor, stage director, author, film director and television host René Richard Cyr was Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui's artistic director from 1998 to 2004. Before that, from 1981 to 1998, he was associate artistic director of Théâtre PàP (Petit à Petit). In the course of the last twenty-five years, he has directed more than a hundred creative and classical plays, operas and shows, among which recitals, galas and televised shows.
