Annie Galipeau had a small role in Map of the World and David Attenborough saw her in it. When he came to Canada to make Grey Owl they tested Pierce Brosnan with five other girls but, according to the world famous director, Annie "just leapt off the screen." Annie Galipeau is an Algonquin who lives on a reserve near Montréal, Québec.
