Patrick Gallagher had spent eight years as an actor and just wasn't sure if his chosen career was going to work out. Then he landed a role in Master and Commander and everything changed. In addition to an ongoing role in Da Vinci's Inquest he was cast in the hit movie Sideways. Gallagher began his theatre studies at Douglas College after going to junior high in Chilliwack, B.C. After college he moved to Montréal for 3 years to study at the National Theatre School. From there he moved to Toronto, New York, then back to Vancouver.
