Marie Gignac is an actor and has served as co-artistic director of the Carrefour International de théâtre de Québec. She had wanted to act when she was still a child but put aside her dreams and ambitions to concentrate on school. In her 20s and in university the urge to perform returned, specifically to work on the stage.
