Jonny Harris graduated from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College’s School
of Fine Arts and has extensive experience in both classical and contemporary
theatre. His first one-man show, Out Of The Bog, was directed by CODCO's Andy Jones
and led to several solo comedic performances. He has made several appearances on The
Halifax Comedy Festival, and in 2005 wrote for, and hosted, the 20th anniversary
Newfoundland Arts Awards. He is a founding member and continues to
perform with the St. John’s sketch comedy troupe The Dance Party of
Newfoundland. He is perhaps best known to a national audience as the clumsy Constable Crabtree on the series, Murdoch Mysteries.
