Meredith Janet Anne Henderson won a Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Youth Program or Series for her work in The Adventures of Shirley Holmes. For her starring role in the TV movie Shania: A Life in Eight Albums, she did all of her own singing. One of her prized possessions is the guitar she used in the made-for-TV movie, autographed by the cast. In the fall of 2008, she moved to Los Angeles.
