Kristen Holden-Reid
b. in Pickering, Ontario
 

Kristen Holden-Reid as William Compton in a publicity still from the the miniseries, The Tudors. A native of Pickering, Ontario, Holden-Reid attended the Concordia University School of Business in Montréal. His first acting experience was with the title role in a production of Young Ivanhoe. His riding and fencing skills not only earned him the part, but also qualified him to become a member of the Canadian National Pentathlon Team and secured him a silver medal from the Pan American and Pan Pacific Pentathlon Championships. Now a much more successful actor, he sometimes shows up in the credits as Kristen Holdenreid.
