Judah Katz
b. June 23, 1960 in Montréal, Québec

<Judah Katz>

Montreal-born Judah Katz has spent more than 25 years flying back and forth between his home in Toronto and Los Angeles thanks to an active career in film and television. Winning an ACTRA award in 1983 as "best new actor in Canadian Television," that early promise was recognized with a Gemini Award in 2006 for his role as Alan Eagleson in the acclaimed CBC mini-series Canada Russia 72. Active in the industry, Katz is usually associated with his work on behalf of the Actor's Fund of Canada. He is, along with agent Phil Flagler, cofounder of the annual charity golf tournament that raises money for the fund. To date more than $800,000 has been rasied. Look for his costarring role as Dick Dimalo, an "in over-his-head" and devoutly religous boss in the new series Cra$h & Burn for Showcase and Global. Also look for him in the new Kevin Spacey film, Casino Jack, due out in 2010.
