Ingrid Kavelaars pictured on the left in a publicity still as Jenn McKaye from the CTV series, Whistler. Kavelaars moved to New York when she was 18 to attend The American Music and Dramatic Academy. She began acting in theatre in New York and Toronto and it was in Toronto that she made her television debut as a recurring character in the series Street Legal followed by her feature film debut in Dave Thomas's Ghost Mom. In 1996, Kavelaars moved to Vancouver and landed a guest starring role in The Outer Limits within her first week in town. She has since gone on to costar in series like Code Name Eternity and Jeremiah and more recently, Whistler.
