Patrick Kelly moved to Toronto in 1998 when he and his Loose Moose buddy Peter Oldring remounted their Edmonton Fringe hit Two Guys Who Desperately Want To Be On TV. It caught the eye of the Comedy Network, who taped the show. It also got the attention of the Second City's Andrew Alexander, who asked the both of them to join the touring company.
