Born in Sudbury,
Brigitte Kingsley's family moved to Whitby, Ontario when she was 10. She began acting at the age of 14 in television commercials. Following high school, KIngsley studied theatre and psychology at York University and graduated with Honours and a BFA degree in Theatre Studies. She plays Summer Vale in the two Dark Rising movies and in the television series.
