Jacinthe Laguë is a graduate of the National Theatre School and began her career on the stage of Montréal's Theatre du Nouveau Monde. She launched her film career with her portrayal of Léa in Home, the feature film by Phyllis Katrapani presented at the Montréal World Film Festival in 2002. For her work in Ghyslaine Côté’s Elles étaient cinq, Laguë pick up a Génie nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
