Stage, screen, radio and TV actor, Sylvia Lennick was always remembered for playing Caesar's fatalistic wife Calpurnia in the classic Wayne and Shuster comedy sketch, Rinse the Blood Off My Toga. She had a long and distinguished career in show business, starting with her work for the politically aware Theatre of Action in 1935 and ending with her final appearance as Mrs. Petrossian in the 2002 made-for-TV movie Get a Clue, starring Lindsay Lohan. Lennick, thought to be the last surviving member of the original Wayne and Shuster comedy troupe, died of complications from pneumonia.
