Greg Malone is a comic and actor. Prior to CODCO, he wrote and performed in a number of shows for CBC including The Root Seller, The S&M Comic Book and 43 episodes of the Wonderful Grand Band. Passionate about his home province, he participated in the campaign that stopped the privatization of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro, and he has championed other environmental causes, including a campaign to ban shipping of garbage to Newfoundland. He also ran as a candidate for the New Democratic Party in a Newfoundland and Labrador byelection in 2000, in which he was narrowly defeated.
