Jane McLean started out in life as Jane Gregorio and was born in the Philippines but was raised in Toronto. The producers of the as yet to be released Another Deep Breath have said that they interviewed and auditioned actresses in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Manila and Cebu before turning to Toronto, where they found who they were looking for in Jane Mclean. They received almost a thousand head shots and audition tapes for the role Jane ultimately landed.
