April Mullen studied at the prestigious Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto where she received a B.F.A. Honors. She moved to the United Kingdom to train at the Royal Welsh College of Drama. She was nominated for Best Actress by the Young Artist Awards for her work in the made-for-TV movie, Cavedweller.
