François Papineau in a publicity still from the 2010 Alliance Vivafilm release, Route 132. He graduated from the National Theatre School in Montréal in 1990 and began his career on stage that year in Al Malja, a play by Wajdi Mouawad. At last count he had some 33 roles to his theatrical credits including the 2010 Théatre Omnibus production of L’Amour à trois and the 2011 Théatre du Nouveau Monde production of la Belle et la bête.
