Jessica Paré

Jessica Paré was almost destined to become an actor since both of her parents are actors. Her father, Anthony Paré once taught drama and toured with a theatre company and her mother, Louise Mercier, a conference translator, acted in amateur productions. Paré played Jesus in a production of Godspell while attending Villa Maria, a private catholic girl's high school in Montreal. She also studied drama at TheatreWorks and appeared in over half a dozen amateur theater productions as a teenager. Her professional career began during her last year of high school when she had a small part in the made-for-TV movie, Bonanno: A Godfather's Story.
