Caroline Gilchrist Rhea wanted to do stand-up comedy when she was just 8 years old. She went to New York to study the art of stand-up in 1989 and before moving to Los Angeles to start production on Sabrina, The Teenage Witch, she regularly performed at a number of comedy clubs, including The Comic Strip, Boston Comedy Club and Stand Up New York. In 2004, Caroline returned to her hometown to perform her one-woman show, Hello, Can You Help Me? which is based on her experiences working at Montréal's Centaur Theatre in the early 1980s.
