Sébastien Ricard as Dédé Fortin in a publicity still from the film Dédé, à travers les brumes. Ricard was the singer and a founding member of the group Loco Locass, which gave him the chops to take on the role of Fortin. A graduate of École Nationale de Théâtre in 1998, Ricard began his career on stage with part in the production Les oranges sont vertes in 1998 at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde. Other plays include Les enfants d’Irène in 2000, Kamouraska in 2003, La Dame aux camélias in 2006 and Big Shoot in 2007.
