Maxim Roy, pictured above in the role of Claire Dereux from the TV series, Defying Gravity. Roy landed her first lead role in the television series based on the best selling book Au Nom du Pere et du Fils and went on to do the sequel, Le Sorcier. At an early age she worked with Denys Arcand in Love & Human Remains and with Bruce McDonald in the CBC TV movie, Platinum. Her versatility allows Roy to play characters that are often colorfully different, such as the man-crazed Sonia in the Golden Reel winner Les Boys or the always serious Caroline Morrison for a couple of seasons on ReGenesis.
