Robert G. Slade is primarily a stage actor which may explain why is credits are few and far between. He has performed with every major theatre company in Winnipeg, including Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, Winnipeg Jewish Theatre, Theatre Projects, English Suitcase Theatre, Bear/West, The King's Players, and Hamm It Up.
He was a teacher at Prairie Theatre Exchange for 13 years and conducted workshops throughout Winnipeg. In 2005, he moved to London, England
