b. June 19, 1980 in Vancouver B.C.

Lauren Lee Smith as Claire and Ken Finkleman in a publicity still from the Shaftsbury series, Good Dog. Smith was noticed by a fashion scout when she was just 13 years old. She was living in Los Angeles at the time and so embarked on a 6-year career as a professional model. At 19, she returned to Vancouver and began her acting career as part of the cast of Get Carter.
