Janis Spence is a writer, actor and director living and working in St. John's. The author of three stage plays, Chickens, Catlover, and Walking to Australia, she has also written extensively for radio and television. Her book, On the beach is spanish room is a collection of six previously unpublished inter-connected contemporary short stories. Her son is the actor Sebastian Spence.
