Jane Spidell is primarily a stage actor. She created the title role in Michael Healey's Rune Arlidge and she has played many Shakespearean roles at the Stratford Festival Theatre. In 2008 Spidell was given a Dora Award for Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role in a Play or Musical for the production, Leaving Home.
