Berni Stapleton is an actor, author and playwright. She is the winner of the International Gabriel Award for Radio Excellence, the CBC Radio Award for Best Radio Special and the Newfoundland and Labrodor Book Award for non-fiction. Her plays include Offensive to Some, Shakespeare's Women, and Women in a Monkey Cage.
