Bernard Starlight began his career by attending some acting workshops in Calgary which led to a small part in a Red Cross video called Picking Up the Eagle Feather. Casting agent Rhonda Fisecki like what she saw and recommended him for a role in his first feature, Hank Williams First Nation.
