David Sutcliffe is perhaps best known for his role as Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls. When he was young David only wanted to be active in sports but while playing on the University of Toronto basketball team he suffered a terrible back injury that ended any hope of a career as an athlete. Turns out David's roommate was a budding playwright looking for actors. David auditioned and ended up being a successful actor with a degree in English literature. Moving to New York, he broke into television acting by doing commercials.
