Deanne Taylor played the role of Maggie Muggins on CBC television. When she outgrew her character she was replaced by eight year old Mary Long for the last years of the popular series from 1959 to 1962. The original Maggie was played by Beth Morris. In 1972 Deanne co-directed the feature film Son of Tutti Frutti.
