In addition to his work work in film and television, Hugh Thompson has appeared in just about every major theatre in Canada including Toronto's Royal Alex, Montreal's Centaur Theatre, The Citadel Theatre, The Grand Theatre, and Festival Antigonish. He won a Gemini Award for his work in the TV movie Blessed Stranger.
