Guylaine Tremblay attended the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Québec, graduating in 1984. She spent her first few years working on stage, and still returns to the stage on a regular basis. But she has become a fixture in Québec for her work on television and in film. She starred as Annie in the TV series, Annie et ses hommes. For her role in 20h17 rue Darling, she was nomiated for the 2003 Claude Jutra Award and in March of 2005 she was named MetroStar Female Personality of the Year in Québec.
