ILLYA WOLOSHYN
b. 1981

Illya Woloshyn was just 11 when The Odyssey first aired but he already had a long list of credits. In fact his debut role was in a stage production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the tender age of five. Illya has gone on to win the Kidsummer '87 Comedy Contest produced by Toronto's Harborfront, then a stint with Second City comedy troupe, and then he landed the coveted role of Jacob in the Young People's Theatre production of the Mordecai Richler musical "Jacob Two-Two and the Hood Fang," in which he had to act, dance and sing proficiently. He was just seven. But it was his two years with "Les Miserables" playing the role of Gavroche that brought him to national attention.
