Benoît Charest is a guitarist and film composer from Quebec. Best known for his work on the animated feature Les Triplettes de Belleville, for which he won a César Award for Best Music Written for a Film as well as a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Music. The song “Belleville Rendez-vous”, from the film brought both an Academy Award nomination and a Grammy Award nomination.
