Jason Reitman is a Director, Actor, Writer and Producer, and son of Ivan Reitman.
Although born in Montréal, he grew up in Los Angeles and studied creative writing at the University of Southern California. He began his career with a number of short films including In God We Trust, Operation, H@, Gulp, Uncle Sam and Consent. Reitman has won broad praise for his 2009 film, Up in the Air, including being named Director of the Year at the 2010 Palm Springs Film Festival.
