Born in Italy, Floria Sigismondi's family moved to Hamilton, Ontario when she was two years old. She works in film, video, photography and art installations. A highly successful, award-winning music video director, Sigismondi has worked with international recording artists like Fiona Apple, Christina Aguilera, The Racounteurs and White Stripes to name a few. Her music videos have occasionally been used in larger video releases like the 2002 Best of Bowie and 2004's The Very Best of Sheryl Crow.
