Clement Virgo moved to Canada when he was 11 years old. He developed his considerable skills at the Canadian Film Centre, which was founded by Norman Jewison. He is active in the Toronto film community as a past board member of L.I.F.T. and the Black Film and Video Network. His film Love Come Down won 3 Genie Awards including Best Supporting Actor.
