Ralph Lucas is an award-winning writer-director in highend corporate and commercial production. His short screenplay, The Next Best Thing to War won the top award at Creative Screenwriting Magazine’s Screenwriting Expo 5 in Los Angeles. His short video, Stopping in Cabbagetown, was selected to open the 2006 Cabbagetown Short Film and Video Festival. He wrote-directed-produced the feature-length documentary Three for the Road. His short fiction has been used on radio in Montreal and Toronto and published in Canada, the United States and most recently in India. As well as being the Founder and Publisher of Northernstars.ca, Lucas is also a photographer and many of his photos of actors and directors can be found throughout this website.
